United Kids Online

Hey United Kids Parents! We hope you’ve been able to use this time at home to spend time with your kids and open up the Bible together.

Below, you’ll find the story your child would have heard in United Kids, along with the activities, questions, and passage they would have read together. You might choose to just watch the video and read the passage together in the Bible, or work through some of these activities throughout the week. It’s up to you!

Some of our small group leaders made videos for your child to check out as well, so they can stay in touch digitally. Definitely check those out!

Finally, you’ll also find the take home resource we typically hand out that you can use throughout the week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Kids’ Director at rachel@unitedchurchmd.org. Enjoy having this time to talk about Jesus with your kids at home!

Preschool

We will finish the month with a story Jesus told about a woman who stopped everything to search for a lost coin. While our preschoolers practice their counting, they will learn how much God loves them. Jesus told this story to help us understand that because God loves us so much, He wants us to be with Him, always. Our prayer is that every preschooler will walk away knowing that God made them and God loves them. And NOTHING will ever change that!

Bottom Line: God loves me.

Elementary (K-3rd Grade)

We end the month in Acts 8:26-40, and discover a Jesus follower named Philip. An angel told Philip to travel toward the desert. On the way, Philip met an Ethiopian official who was reading the Jewish Scriptures. He had questions and asked Philip. Philip answered the man’s question and pointed him to Jesus. The official put his faith in Jesus and was baptized.

Bottom Line: Keep going even when you have questions.
