Talk is Cheap Pt. 2

Play

Talk is cheap. Jesus wasn’t interested in us talking a good game. It was interested in us living out what he preached, actively following him.

One of the key things we see in the Bible as we look at Following Jesus is a clear call to authentic relationships. That’s what the church is all about – it’s a body of believers, engaged in authentic relationships, growing in Christlike character together, being on mission together, and living out their individual callings.

But, authentic relationships require work. This week, we explore the story of Daniel and three friends of his, and we talk about our need for friends in the “fires” of life. We also hear from someone in our United family what their experience living in community has been, the challenges they’ve faced in pursuing authentic relationships, and how God has been faithful.
